"Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina" (魔女の旅々) began as a self-published novel by Japanese author Jougi Shiraishi on Amazon Kindle in 2014. It was later revised and published as a light novel in 2016, followed by a manga adaptation in November 2018, and an anime series in October 2020.
The story follows Elaina, who, inspired by a book titled "The Adventure of Nike", dreams of traveling the world as a witch.
