It's Him! Muscle Cosplayer Steve JEAN Wows Netizens with Spot-On Street Fighter Dhalsim

We've featured plenty of Japanese cosplayers before, from stunning beauties to eye-catching physiques. But this time, we're flexing a different kind of "muscle" with a new cosplayer!

Remember French cosplayer Steve JEAN, who lives in Japan and previously wowed us with his Wamuu from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? He's back, and this time he's dropping jaws with his hilarious take on Dhalsim from Street Fighter. His incredibly muscular physique combined with an uncanny costume accuracy has fans absolutely buzzing.

For anyone who's ever thrown a Hadouken, Dhalsim (ダルシム) needs no introduction. He first stretched onto the scene in 1991's "Street Fighter II." This dark-skinned Indian monk is famous for his stretchy limbs, long-range attacks, fire breath, and teleportation via levitation – a character design born from the then-common Japanese perception of India as a mystical land.

While Dhalsim might not be the most popular character in the franchise, Steve JEAN chose him for a very personal reason. Steve is a huge fan of yoga, especially aerial yoga. And as any fan knows, Dhalsim's signature stretchy limbs are a direct result of his intense daily yoga practice.

He found it incredibly fun to combine his passion for yoga with cosplay. Plus, with his naturally dark skin and chiseled physique, he's practically a real-life Dhalsim!

But despite his perfectly sculpted body, Steve has a surprising soft spot for cosplaying female anime characters. From Lam in "Urusei Yatsura" to Usagi Tsukino in "Sailor Moon," he tackles them all with hilarious confidence. Talk about owning it!

His willingness to embody any character, regardless of gender, truly showcases his deep love for cosplay and the characters themselves. As an aerial fitness instructor and preschool teacher, he's a regular at various events and Comiket. If you're digging his vibe, be sure to give him a follow on X!
