Tokyo's iconic landmark, the Tokyo Skytree, is no stranger to epic anime crossovers, having previously hosted massive events for hits like Jujutsu Kaisen and Pokémon Horizons: The Series. These collabs have drawn huge crowds, blending stunning high-altitude views with immersive exhibits and spectacular tower light-ups. Right now, it's even hosting a popular event with My Hero Academia.
Next up, the Skytree is teaming up with Detective Conan: The One-Eyed Afterimage, the 28th film in the blockbuster series set to premiere in April. The special event, titled "Tower of Sparkling Blue Skies," will take over the Tembo Galleria, located over 450 meters above ground. Fans can look forward to an exhibition that plunges them into the world of the anime, complete with larger-than-life displays perfect for photo ops. The event will run from April 15 to July 14, 2025.
The venue will be packed with photo spots spread across seven distinct zones, each offering unique installations and decorations for fans to capture the perfect shot.
(Note: The event takes place in the Tembo Galleria on floors 445 to 450, not the lower observation deck!)
▼ Zone 1: Sky-High Shuttle
The experience begins in the elevator, where custom animations featuring characters from the *Detective Conan* anime will play on three walls, building the hype as you ascend.
▼ Zone 2: Welcome Area
Strike a pose with a massive backdrop featuring specially drawn event artwork of the characters soaring around the Skytree. Behind you, the breathtaking Tokyo cityscape stretches out, offering a completely different vibe day or night.
▼ Zone 3: Galleria Corridor
As you walk along the sloping corridor, you'll find giant character standees lining the walls, perfect for snapping photos against the panoramic Tokyo view.
▼ Zone 4: Turnaround Spot ①
At the end of the corridor, over 400 meters in the sky, you'll find a photo spot featuring an illustration of Conan shredding on his skateboard. Fans can even pose with a prop skateboard to join in on the action.

This area is dedicated to iconic character pairings from the *Detective Conan* anime, with famous quotes and scenes decorating the walls, letting you relive your favorite moments from the story.
▼ Zone 6: Sorakara Point
At the highest point of the exhibition, this zone centers on Conan & the Sleeping Kogoro. Screens on the walls will display classic lines and sound effects from the anime.
▼ Zone 7: Mini Photo Spot
Simple character standees are set up here, providing the perfect opportunity to take pictures of your own character goods against the stunning high-altitude backdrop.
Additionally, in the welcome area near the elevator entrance, you can purchase an exclusive photo service for 1,700 yen. This gets you a picture with your favorite character, complete with a limited-edition decorative folder to take home. With the Skytree's incredible view as your background, you'll also receive a special collectible card, with 21 different designs to choose from.
The event will also feature a menu of themed desserts and drinks, so you can grab a bite while soaking in the atmosphere. Naturally, every item is specially designed around the world of *Detective Conan*.
The "SKYTREE ROUND THEATER(R)," a massive 360-degree screen on the observation deck windows, will play classic clips from the *Detective Conan* anime at scheduled times each day. Paired with music, it's sure to be a powerful and nostalgic experience for any fan.
During the exhibition period, the Tokyo Skytree's exterior lighting will also switch between six different character-themed color schemes.
