Monster Hunter Wilds Smashes 10 Million Sales, Sets New Capcom Record; Free April Update Incoming

Monster Hunter Wilds has officially blasted past 10 million units sold in just one month since its release, setting a blistering new sales record for Capcom and cementing its status as a massive hit.

Since its February launch, the game quickly shattered Capcom's previous opening sales records, moving over 8 million units in its first week alone. Now, with sales nearing half of Monster Hunter: World's lifetime figures, Wilds is poised to become one of Capcom's all-time best-selling titles.

Currently, Monster Hunter: World remains Capcom's top seller with approximately 22 million units shipped. However, Monster Hunter Wilds, now exceeding 10 million units, has already become Capcom's sixth best-selling game in history, trailing only behind Resident Evil Village.

Beyond its phenomenal sales performance, Capcom has also unveiled its free update roadmap for Monster Hunter Wilds. The first major free update is set to drop on April 3rd (PDT) and April 4th (BST). This update will also introduce a new event quest, challenging players to take on the Arch-Tempered Zinogre and unlock brand-new gear.
