Today (April 3), the official account dropped a fresh illustration from creator NAGANO, featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi enjoying some snacks. The caption, "Oishii yo! Donut ite ii yo ne" (It's delicious! Donuts are good, right?), immediately sent fans into a frenzy, speculating: "This has GOT to be a collab hint, right?!"

Given that Chiikawa is currently one of Japan's hottest IPs, such a post makes it impossible not to connect the dots to a potential future collaboration. Looking at the treats, most netizens are convinced it's Mister Donut.
Many fans believe this is a clear hint at a partnership, knowing that a collaboration between these two would be a massive commercial success. And seeing the three adorable characters enjoying their treats together is just absolutely heartwarming.
In fact, recent manga chapters have also featured donut-related plot threads. Not only have specific donut flavors appeared, but even the design on the donut boxes is practically identical to Mister Donut's current packaging! Seriously, how could it NOT be related?
