French Pastry Chef Crafts an Insane Chocolate Super Mario World, Netizens Blown Away!

A video showcasing a chocolate sculpture of Nintendo's beloved character, Mario, has gone absolutely viral on YouTube and Instagram, with netizens exclaiming, "This creation is insane!" and "Pure genius!"

The mastermind behind this edible masterpiece is French pastry chef Amaury Guichon. He took on the challenge of crafting the globally recognized game icon entirely out of chocolate. His incredible skill and dedication to confectionery shine through in this fun, highly detailed, and almost unbelievably realistic chocolate artwork, which has racked up over 56 million views on Instagram.

Guichon starts by hollowing out and stacking chocolate spheres, meticulously carving out Mario's face – from his signature big eyes and mustache to his iconic cap, all made from chocolate!

He then connects the chocolate body to the head, ultimately completing a one-meter-tall, hyper-realistic chocolate Mario statue that looks ready to jump right off the screen.

To elevate the piece even further, Guichon meticulously colored the entire chocolate sculpture. He first airbrushed a base coat, then used pigment-infused chocolate to create Mario's overalls, making the whole thing look like he's actually wearing clothes and adding incredible dimensionality.

But it doesn't stop at Mario himself! Guichon also crafted Question Blocks, Warp Pipes, and even a Piranha Plant, perfectly recreating Mario's game world. The wildest part? It's ALL made of chocolate – truly mind-blowing!
