"Monster Hunter Wilds" Player Recreates "Crayon Shin-chan's" Queer Duo Member "Macao" with Incredible Accuracy, Drawing in Tons of Fellow Fans!

Capcom's highly anticipated new title, Monster Hunter Wilds, smashed records on Steam on its release day, and even over a month later, players are still deep in the hunting frenzy. Beyond the thrill of the hunt, many netizens are finding another layer of fun by meticulously recreating real-life individuals or beloved anime characters through the game's character creator.

Recently on X (formerly Twitter) in Japan, one user took on the challenge of recreating Macao, one half of the "Queer Duo" from the 1996 film "Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland." The incredible accuracy of their creation earned massive praise from countless netizens, even drawing out a flock of fellow fans eager to get their hands on the same look.

The "Queer Duo," Macao and Jyuma, are the iconic villains from "Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland." This gay duo arrived to conquer Earth; Macao is the bald one with prominent sideburns, while Jyuma sports a bun hairstyle. Masters of ballet and magic, they came to Japan after dominating Prince Goman's country.

The Nohara family challenged them to a dance-off but lost by a narrow margin. They demanded a rematch, this time with a game of Old Maid, which the duo won. However, in a moment of desperation, Shin-chan grabbed the "Joker" card and chanted a spell, freezing time. A spirit emerged from the Joker, revealing how to defeat the duo. What followed was an intense cat-and-mouse chase and battle with the Nohara family in High-Speed Castle, where Shin-chan ultimately vanquished them.

The Macao created by user Hibino ( @kira0810_bb ) perfectly captures the character's golden sideburns, ridiculously thick eyebrows, and bold red lips, all topped off with a pink jacket and white attire. That running pose, in particular, is an absolute dead ringer for his movie counterpart, earning widespread praise from netizens for its insane accuracy!

This user clearly has a deep affection for the duo, as they previously recreated both members of the "Queer Duo" in the game "Rise of the Ronin."

And wouldn't you know it, fellow fans always find each other! After the user's post blew up, other netizens quickly jumped in to share their own hilarious creations.

This just goes to show that "Monster Hunter Wilds" is inspiring all sorts of wild and wonderful character creation ideas. And it's clear that Macao, with his ghostly, oppressive, yet undeniably hilarious presence, remains a super popular villain. Who would've thought a character from a movie nearly 30 years old would still be getting this much love in a modern game's character creator?
