To say this has been a long time coming is an understatement. The original *Inazuma Eleven* game launched on the Nintendo DS back in 2008, spawning a hit anime series and numerous sequels. *Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road* (previously known as "Ares no Tenbin") was first announced on July 27, 2016. After multiple delays and title changes, its release date has finally been confirmed, marking a nearly nine-year journey from announcement to launch.

Following the 2024 demo, the development team has implemented significant system improvements based on player feedback, aiming to create a definitive experience for both competitive players and fans who are in it for the story and character progression.
It's also confirmed that classic mechanics like Keshin, Armed, Mixi Max, and Souls will be returning, alongside brand-new features for players to discover. The game boasts a colossal roster of over 5,200 characters from across the series and more than 150 teams, offering endless possibilities for team composition.

The game will feature 10 unique characters, and you'll choose five to be your partners as you advance through the story. The unselected characters can only be recruited after completing the main game, so choose wisely!

One of the most talked-about reveals was the voice cast for these 10 partners, which is stacked with famous YouTubers, VTubers, and idols, including HIKAKIN, Miquela Sato, Takushi Izawa, Masai from Fischer's, Maika Sasaki, Toshiya Miyata, NIJISANJI's Rai Iba and Suo Sango, hololive's Ririka Ichijou, and VSPO!'s Lisa Hanabusa.
While these personalities are all huge in their respective fields and the announcement generated massive buzz, some players questioned why professional voice actors weren't cast, suggesting the move was primarily a marketing tactic to attract specific fanbases.

Pre-order pricing for all platforms is now available on the official website for you to check out. After a nearly nine-year wait, expectations are sky-high. We'll have to wait until the official release to see if the game can live up to the hype.
