CAPCOM's iconic "Resident Evil" series needs no introduction. It's a bona fide classic and a best-selling horror franchise, with over a dozen titles released since its 1996 debut.
Today (April 18), Capcom announced they're turning the "Resident Evil" series' legendary healing items—the "Herbs"—into actual, drinkable herbal tea bags! All four iconic colors—red, green, blue, and yellow—are getting the tea treatment, and they're already available for pre-order at the ONLINE PARCO CAPCOM STORE.
This latest drop draws inspiration from the infamous Umbrella Corporation's design aesthetic, making it a fresh addition to the official "Umbrella Corporation Impression Goods Series."
There are four distinct tea bag flavors and colors, each inspired by the familiar "Green Herb," "Red Herb," "Blue Herb," and the "Yellow Herb" that pops up in some game versions. Every blend boasts a unique aroma and taste, so you can pick your "herb" based on your mood.
▼ Green Herbs: Green Tea & Peppermint
This refreshing herbal blend mixes green tea with peppermint, taking cues from the game's classic healing item. It's got a crisp aroma and a sweet aftertaste, making it a truly invigorating new tea experience. Perfect for when you need a pick-me-up or just want to chill out.
▼ Red Herbs: Hibiscus & Rosehip & Stevia
This dreamy combo is a sweet and sour sensation, featuring hibiscus and rosehip with a touch of stevia. It's naturally sweet with a tangy kick, boasting a rich, floral aroma. Just like the Red Herb in-game "boosts effects," this blend definitely makes its presence known!
▼ Blue Herbs: Moringa Leaf & Stevia
This soothing herbal tea features moringa leaf and stevia, offering a slightly roasted aroma with a natural sweetness. Moringa leaf has a distinct flavor that perfectly evokes the Blue Herb's "detoxifying" properties in the game—it just feels right.
▼ Yellow Herbs: Chamomile
This delicate chamomile-based tea offers a refreshing and comforting floral taste. It's ideal for unwinding, promoting sleep, or calming your nerves. Its gentle profile also brings to mind the Yellow Herb's in-game ability to "increase max health"—a perfect fit!
