For many, the famous McDonald's "Happy Meal" holds a special place in childhood memories. Beyond the food, those unique toys and giveaways were absolutely magical. Japan's McDonald's keeps that magic alive with regular updates, often dropping two or more exciting collaborations at once!
Following the early April announcement of the Chiikawa collaboration, they've now added a Minecraft Movie tie-in, celebrating this year's live-action film release. Grab a meal, and you'll score a toy from one of these awesome series! McDonald's has dropped the full lineup of goodies, with the event kicking off on May 16.
Each of the two collaboration toy series features eight different items, released in two waves over two weeks, with all eight items available at once during the third week.
The Chiikawa series is making its debut with adorable 3D items! We're talking 8 super cute and practical stationery and everyday goods like a "Drink Cup Pen Holder," "Usagi Pancake Case," and a "Hachiware McDonald's Calendar." These little cuties, decked out in McDonald's uniforms, are beyond charming! They even help kids get a fun peek into the world of "work" and social skills.
