Get ready for a serious blast from the past! The legendary arcade classic, PAC-MAN (パックマン), first unleashed upon the world in 1980, is hitting its epic 45th anniversary this year. For many, it's not just a game; it's a symbol of retro romance and pure childhood joy.
To celebrate this monumental milestone, PowerA, the go-to brand for gaming controllers, is dropping a brand-new Nintendo Switch wireless controller: the "Lumectra Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch - PAC-MAN Neon Arcade Edition." This beauty is priced at 8,800 JPY and is already up for pre-order!
This special edition wireless controller is a true tribute to PAC-MAN's 45th anniversary. It packs an internal "Ghost RGB LED lighting system" that brilliantly illuminates the iconic arcade maze right on your controller – talk about dazzling!
But it's not just a static glow; you can customize it with four different lighting modes. Watch PAC-MAN dash through the maze in animated glory, or experience the flashy level-clear sequences, all designed to transport you straight back to the golden age of arcades. Immersion level: maximum!
Beyond the stunning visuals, this controller is built for serious play. It features "Advanced Gaming Buttons" on the back, fully customizable to give you that extra edge. Plus, it supports motion controls (accelerometer/gyroscope), opening up even more ways to play your favorite Switch titles. And don't worry about running out of juice mid-game – a single charge gives you up to 10 hours of playtime.
PowerA also thought about comfort and durability. The joysticks come equipped with "anti-friction rings" for super smooth, snag-free movement. And to keep you powered up, it includes a generous 3-meter USB-C charging cable. Game on!
