Denis Villeneuve's third installment in the "Dune" saga, "Dune Messiah," made headlines in April with rumors suggesting Robert Pattinson was eyed to join the cast as the villain Skytale. Today, foreign outlet Nexus Point News reported that "Dune Messiah" will not only introduce the twin children of Paul Atreides and Chani, as per the original novel, but will also feature their adult versions.

Nexus Point News indicated that the production has already cast the twins. Paul's son, Leto Atreides II, will reportedly be played by Jason Momoa's son, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, while Paul's daughter, Ghanima Atreides, will be portrayed by Ida Brooke (pictured above).

This film will mark Nakoa-Wolf's big-screen debut and his first time appearing in the same movie as his father. Jason Momoa plays Duncan Idaho in the "Dune" series, a character who died in the first film but is set to be resurrected in "Dune Messiah."

In February, rumors emerged that a fourth "Dune" film, expected to adapt the third novel "Children of Dune," was already in development. The casting of adult actors for Ghanima and Leto II, who are set to become central figures in the fourth installment, could suggest that "Dune Messiah" will lay the groundwork for future plotlines.
