Marvel Studios has dropped the first teaser for its animated "Black Panther" spin-off series, "Eyes of Wakanda," also officially announcing its premiere date. "Eyes of Wakanda" will adopt an anthology format, chronicling the exploits of warriors from various eras in Wakandan history. These individual tales will, however, converge to form a larger, continuous narrative arc. Ryan Coogler, who helmed both "Black Panther" films, remains involved in the series' development as an executive producer.

The series' narrative will kick off at the close of the Western Bronze Age. During this period, a series of international espionage missions are triggered, as multiple Wakandan agents are dispatched to retrieve stolen Vibranium artifacts from adversaries, all while maintaining utmost secrecy. Their recovery efforts will also touch upon the ramifications of Captain America's Vibranium shield finding its way into human hands. "Eyes of Wakanda" is slated to premiere all four episodes simultaneously on Disney+ on August 27.
