The third-person PvP game "Marvel Rivals," developed by Marvel Games in collaboration with NetEase, is set to launch its third season on July 11, 2025. Among the most anticipated highlights of this update is the confirmation that Spider-Man's iconic Symbiote Black Suit will be available via the Battle Pass.
This costume was first revealed by game content creator Miller Ross on X (formerly Twitter). While it's not the exact version worn by Tobey Maguire in the film "Spider-Man 3," but rather a classic black suit with a white spider logo closer to the comic book design, it has nonetheless sparked significant excitement among players.
The suit is part of the new "Venomized" series introduced this season, appearing alongside Venomized versions of other characters like Jeff the Land Shark and Squirrel Girl.
Beyond the new suit, the developers have also added a fun emote that pays homage to "Spider-Man 3," allowing players to control Spider-Man and recreate Tobey Maguire's iconic street dance moves from the film.
This season also introduces Phoenix as a new playable character and implements a series of hero balance adjustments, including buffs to Wolverine that streamers have humorously suggested will "break" tank players. The third season of "Marvel Rivals" is packed with content, promising a fresh gameplay experience and a Battle Pass designed to draw a large number of fans back to the game.
