Disney's live-action "Snow White" has undeniably faced immense public backlash, with its box office performance reportedly failing to even break even. The widely perceived reasons include Disney's alleged manipulation of political correctness and the controversial remarks made by lead actress Rachel Zegler. However, Gal Gadot, who plays the Evil Queen, doesn't believe these are the primary factors, instead suggesting the blame lies with her.

In a recent interview with Israeli local television, Gadot was asked about her thoughts on "Snow White"'s failure. Gadot analyzed that the film's poor performance was entirely due to her sensitive identity as an Israeli.

Gadot first stated that she thoroughly enjoyed the filming process, saying, "First, I have to say, I really enjoyed making this movie, truly enjoyed it, especially working with Rachel Zegler. We would chat and laugh together, it was genuinely fun, and I was initially very confident this film would be a big hit."

She then continued, "But then, October 7, 2023 (the Hamas attack on Israel) happened, and immediately after, many industries—including Hollywood—saw numerous celebrities pressured to speak out against Israel. And well... you know, things just unfolded from there. While I can always explain to the world exactly what happened in Israel, and I'll never tire of doing so, ultimately, people have made their decisions. I will always be disappointed that this film was affected by these events. The movie didn't do well at the box office, but what's done is done; life has its ups and downs."
