Recently, Japanese X user Protocraft ( @protocraft_bg ) blew minds by sharing their latest creation: a "Yu-Gi-Oh!" Revolver Dragon model crafted entirely from 100-yen store finds. It's simple, yet incredibly accurate, making it hard to believe how it was put together!
The "Revolver Dragon" (リボルバー・ドラゴン) is an iconic monster card that debuted in the original "Yu-Gi-Oh!" series. It was a signature card for Bandit Keith and one of the early cards to feature a coin-toss effect, boasting a truly unforgettable design.
So, what was Protocraft's secret weapon? Just your average toy pistol, the kind you'd find at a 100-yen store or Japanese general store for about 100 yen a pop. They combined it with a few other model parts to piece together this masterpiece.
Here's what the prototype looked like, clearly showing the toy pistol's base and various model components.
Next came the paint job, perfectly replicating the Revolver Dragon's color scheme from the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" anime, primarily using black and dark purple to give it that mechanical edge.
Protocraft is known for using everyday items to spark ideas and create incredible models. They were genuinely surprised by the massive online buzz their Revolver Dragon generated and hope to find even more readily available 100-yen store items to craft more awesome projects in the future.
