Japanese retail giant Shimamura (しまむら) is no stranger to epic anime collabs, consistently dropping everyday essentials with popular IPs. Known for its affordable prices, it's a go-to for many shoppers.
Now, its baby and kids' sub-brand, Birthday, is diving into the world of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" – an IP so popular it feels like it can collab with anything! They've just unveiled adorable baby outfits featuring Unit-01 and Penpen. These are currently available for pre-order on their official site for 3,069 yen.
This isn't their first rodeo with NERV! Last year, they dropped three pilot suit-themed baby outfits inspired by Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Soryu, and Rei Ayanami, which were a huge hit thanks to their cute hooded designs. A year later, they're back with Unit-01 and Penpen, creating the ultimate training gear for your future EVA pilot. Get your little one ready to save the world from day one – and yes, these are totally unisex (we think?).
