Starting this December, prepare to be awestruck as a gigantic Godzilla statue, measuring approximately 40 meters long and 9 meters tall, rises in the 3rd-floor departure lobby of Terminal 3. It's going to greet every traveler with an overwhelming presence!
The project's epic theme? "Godzilla greets travelers arriving in Japan and bids them farewell as they depart." That's right, Japan's iconic Kaiju will transform into both the starting and ending point of your journey, delivering an airport experience unlike anything before.
This Haneda Airport Godzilla statue is a brand-new creation, based on the original "Shodai Godzilla" design. It's slated for completion by late December 2025 and will be on display until late December 2026, marking one of the largest character exhibitions in Haneda Airport's history!
