Japanese sensation Mrs. GREEN APPLE kicked off their highly anticipated "Mrs. GREEN APPLE DOME TOUR 2025 “BABEL no TOH”" on October 25, 2025, at Nagoya Dome. What was meant to be a celebratory 10th-anniversary opening night quickly turned into a social media firestorm after an unexpected incident caused a significant delay to the concert's start.
According to official announcements, the concert was originally scheduled to begin at 4 PM. However, a last-minute notice was posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Due to final adjustments inside the venue, the opening time has been changed to 5 PM."
Around the same time, shocking posts began circulating on social media: a pregnant fan had reportedly given birth in the venue's restroom. Eyewitnesses claimed an ambulance rushed to the scene, confirming both mother and baby were safe. Given the overlapping timelines, many fans quickly speculated that this dramatic event was the cause of the concert's delay.
As the news spread like wildfire online, a heated debate erupted over "pregnant women attending concerts." Some netizens were quick to criticize, stating, "While I understand wanting to see them live, safety should always come first." Others added, "It's too dangerous to go to such a crowded and loud place in late pregnancy," and "As a parent, that's incredibly irresponsible." However, a few voices defended the individual, arguing, "No one can predict when labor will start; the most important thing is that they are safe."
