Rumors have long circulated about Marvel Studios preparing to introduce the next Black Panther actor into the MCU. Damson Idris, known for his role in "F1," has frequently been cited as a strong contender for the part; he even attended a "Vogue" fashion show last year alongside the "Black Panther" cast .

A major question for Marvel fans has been which film would mark the new Black Panther's debut. While many previous reports suggested "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty," the fifth installment of the "Avengers" saga, would be the stage for their first appearance, recent updates have contradicted this possibility.

Renowned film and television journalist Daniel Richtman revealed today on his Patreon page that Marvel did initially plan to introduce the new Black Panther in "The Kang Dynasty," and had even auditioned several actors, including Aaron Pierre, who is slated to play the new Green Lantern John Stewart in the DC Universe. However, the plan has now shifted, with the new Black Panther set to be introduced in "Avengers 6: Secret Wars." Richtman did not specify who would portray the character.

In the same report, Richtman also teased that "Spider-Man 4" will feature more villains beyond the already confirmed Scorpion and Tombstone. He indicated that additional, unrevealed antagonists are set to join the fray.
