Manga artist Hideaki Sorachi's hilarious masterpiece, "Gintama," is celebrating its 20th anime anniversary this year, and fans are buzzing with anticipation for the brand-new theatrical anime film, "Gintama The Movie: Yoshiwara in Flames," set to premiere on February 14, 2026!
A week before its release, the official team dropped details on the first-run theatrical bonus. This special treat is a "Enjo Volume" booklet, styled like a Gintama manga volume, boasting over 60 pages of absolutely loaded content that fans will definitely want to get their hands on!

This exclusive booklet isn't just packed with the movie's design artwork. It also features a "Past Editors Roundtable" where the original creator and "Super Advisor Gorilla," Hideaki Sorachi-sensei, personally presides over a gathering of all nine past Gintama editors. They're ready to spill behind-the-scenes secrets, even if it means getting "flamed" for it!
The content dives deep into insider stories from when the "Yoshiwara in Flames Arc" was originally serialized, plus Sorachi-sensei himself personally answers fan questions from the "#AskSorachiSensei" Q&A project held in November.
And that's not all! The booklet also includes a brand-new Gintama special manga personally drawn by Hideaki Sorachi, which became legendary due to its shocking content when it was revealed at the anime event "Gintama After-Festival 2023 (tentative)." This "forbidden content," usually impossible to see, is now all packed into one place!
▼ The cover features the previously revealed teaser visual, showcasing a newly drawn profile illustration of Gintoki Sakata.

The official team even brought in voice actors Tomokazu Sugita, Daisuke Sakaguchi, and Rie Kugimiya to promote this must-have bonus!
"Gintama The Movie: Yoshiwara in Flames" premieres in Japan on February 14th. Stay tuned for future announcements regarding releases in other regions!
