Takashi Yamazaki’s latest Godzilla -0.0 film will open in Japan on November 3, Godzilla Day, and fans are already gearing up to catch the next chapter in the kaiju saga on the big screen.
On October 23, officials unveiled the first theatergoer bonus: two million limited-edition Glow-in-the-Dark! Godzilla (2026) Mini Figures, available at theaters across Japan. Made from phosphorescent material, the figure emits an eerie glow in the dark. Its reveal quickly got fans talking, with many saying the nostalgic design brought back memories of classic collectibles.

Starting on the film’s Japanese opening day, November 3, two million figures will be distributed in limited quantities at theaters nationwide. The Glow-in-the-Dark! Godzilla (2026) Mini Figure comes in three randomly distributed colors, measures approximately 5 centimeters tall, and uses phosphorescent material to glow mysteriously in the dark.
Each moviegoer will receive one figure per screening attended. Anyone hoping to add this special Godzilla to their collection will need to head to a participating theater while supplies last.

The bonus has reminded longtime fans of the Heisei era, when small kaiju figures like these were a familiar sight. For veteran collectors, it is an unexpected—and highly tempting—blast from the past.

Naturally, a collectible like this is likely to bring fans to theaters early. Those outside Japan will either need to catch a screening there, explore other ways to track one down, or wait to see whether the promotion reaches international markets.
