In 2021, Cygames launched its horse girl training sim mobile game, "Uma Musume Pretty Derby." What started as a multimedia project back in 2018 successfully debuted its mobile title in 2021 and has since galloped its way to global IP stardom. Now, as the mobile game gears up for its fifth anniversary this year (2026) – fittingly, the Year of the Horse – the official team has dropped a bombshell bigger than any previous anniversary announcement: CyberAgent President Susumu Fujita's very own racehorse, "Forever Young," is officially becoming an Uma Musume!
Born on February 24, 2021, "Forever Young" was acquired by CyberAgent President Susumu Fujita in 2022 for a cool 98 million JPY.
This equine superstar debuted in October 2023 and has since racked up an impressive list of victories, including the 2023 All Japan 2-Year-Old Yushun, the 2024 Japan Dirt Classic and Tokyo Daishoten, the 2025 Breeders' Cup Classic, and back-to-back Saudi Cups in 2025 and 2026.
In 2025, "Forever Young" was crowned JRA Horse of the Year, making history as the first Japanese-trained horse to win the Breeders' Cup Classic. This makes it only the second racehorse, after El Condor Pasa, to earn this prestigious honor without competing in JRA races, and the first-ever dirt horse to receive the award.

Now, Fujita's and the players' dreams have finally come true: his own horse, transformed into an Uma Musume! The big reveal happened during the "Paka Live TV Vol. 62" broadcast on February 22, where details for the mobile game's fifth anniversary were unveiled. Topping the list of new Uma Musume characters is, of course, "Forever Young," voiced by Shuri Umi.
Fans quickly noticed that her sunglasses and hat combo bears a striking resemblance to her trainer, Yoshito Yahagi. What's more, her character description even mentions "sparking innovation in the Uma Musume world," leading netizens to dub her "Yahagi and Fujita fused into a beautiful girl" or "packed with Yahagi and Fujita elements." Players are eagerly waiting to see what kind of storm "Forever Young" will stir up in the Uma Musume universe!
