PUMA x Pokémon Celebrate 30th Anniversary with Limited Edition Pikachu Sneakers: Featuring Classic Pikachu Design!

As the "Pokémon" series celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, it's teaming up with sportswear giant PUMA to drop a brand-new collaborative basketball shoe: the "All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu." Decked out in classic Pikachu colors, these kicks are slated to hit shelves on April 1, 2026.

This time, they've tapped into Pokémon's most iconic character, Pikachu, for inspiration. The sneakers boast an all-yellow base, with dark textured patterns on the upper mimicking Pikachu's body. Red suede lace supports represent Pikachu's signature red cheek pouches, while the classic PUMA Formstrip on the toe cap gets a jolt of electricity, styled like Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack. Plus, you'll find hidden Pikachu graphics on the inner side of the shoe and inside the tongue.

The "All-Pro Nitro 2" is already a beast on the court, built for serious basketball action. It features a dual-density NITROFOAM™ midsole, delivering a perfect combo of cushioning, rebound, and stable support – so you can nail those quick stops, changes in direction, and speedy cuts with confidence. The upper uses a lightweight yet durable PWRTAPE SQD structure, boosting lockdown and stability for multi-directional moves, while the PUMAGRIP outsole ensures killer traction on the hardwood.

And to top it all off, these come in a special limited-edition shoebox, also rocking a vibrant yellow and a huge Pikachu graphic.

The "All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu" is currently set to drop on April 1st for $140. However, it's still TBD whether these will be available in Japan and Taiwan, so stay tuned for future updates!
