These aren't just any glasses; they're premium Edo Kiriko glass cups, a designated "National Traditional Craft" of Tokyo, meticulously handcrafted one by one by seasoned artisans.
This marks the first time Sanrio's Cinnamoroll has teamed up with the traditional Japanese glass craft of Edo Kiriko. Artisans from the Edo Kiriko Cooperative Association workshop have painstakingly handcrafted each piece, using traditional cutting and sandblasting techniques to bring Cinnamoroll's adorable and gentle world to life on the glass.
The cup's design features a sparkling "star pattern" background, with a sandblasted Cinnamoroll sporting a crown. Next to the traditional "Shippo Mon" (seven treasures pattern), which symbolizes happiness, you'll find intricately cut star motifs, giving the whole piece a truly refined look.
Adding to the dreamy aesthetic, the cup also boasts crescent moon-shaped cuts and sandblasted unicorn designs. The lower half features a "star flower pattern," while the base is adorned with cloud motifs created using Edo Kiriko's "Hiragaki" (flat polishing) technique – talk about attention to detail!
Each glass cup will also have "Cinnamoroll" engraved on the bottom, along with its unique limited-edition number from 1 to 500, making every piece a one-of-a-kind collectible.
