Get ready for a massive nostalgia trip! Today (3/23), the official team behind the beloved anime and manga "Naruto" dropped a brand-new special website and official PV for the "-NARUTO 72 series-" project. Not only does it reimagine all 72 manga volume covers in a stunning anime style, but it also features classic scene introductions and heartfelt fan comments. Talk about a full-on memory assault!
The "NARUTO 72 series" actually started as a previous collaboration with Banpresto, a project that transformed the 72 manga volume covers into collectible figures, leading to the release of numerous prize figures.
But this time, the newly launched special website showcases fresh, anime-style illustrations for all 72 manga volume covers. Plus, if you post on X (formerly Twitter) using the official hashtag, your comments could appear on the respective volume pages of the special website, creating a collective voice for all fans!
While the complete set of 72 covers hasn't been fully revealed yet, expect continuous updates to bring all these fresh, reimagined cover artworks to fans.
And that's not all! The official team also released an approximately 110-second PV. This video is absolutely packed with details, cleverly hiding 26 Naruto Easter eggs in everyday scenes – a true nod to the memories and life experiences shared by all Naruto fans. The official announcement also teased that the full answers would be revealed on March 26.
To top it off, new merchandise and Banpresto figure series, featuring fan-favorite characters like Naruto and Sasuke, were also unveiled, with releases kicking off sequentially from March.
