Fans have been eagerly awaiting the sequel, "Super Mario Galaxy Movie," which is set to hit theaters in the US, Taiwan, and Hong Kong on April 1, 2026.
Now, to amp up the hype, Krispy Kreme has announced a sweet collaboration! They're dropping a limited-edition donut collection inspired by the movie's universe, featuring four delicious designs. These will be available across all Krispy Kreme Japan stores starting April 8, 2026!

This special lineup highlights iconic characters like Mario, Yoshi, and Luma (Chico), alongside the classic "Question Block." All the key elements from the "Super Mario Galaxy Movie" are packed into these signature donuts, making them not only vibrant and eye-catching but also super tasty.

▼ Mario Strawberry Donut
Drenched in a bright red strawberry glaze, this donut screams "Mario Red"! It's topped with red and blue sprinkles, a star candy, and finished with a cute Mario hat decoration.

▼ Yoshi Custard Egg
Featuring a white chocolate shell with green spots, this donut perfectly recreates Yoshi's iconic egg. Inside, you'll find a rich Hokkaido milk custard filling.

▼ Luma Blueberry Galaxy Donut
Starring Luma, this cosmic donut boasts pink and yellow frosting with blueberry sauce swirled to create a galaxy effect. It's then sprinkled with shimmering sugar pearls and adorned with colorful Luma monaka wafers for an out-of-this-world visual treat.

▼ Question Block Box
The legendary "Question Block" gets transformed into a box! Each box contains one donut and a random item decoration. You might find a Yoshi Egg, Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Ice Flower, or a Red Koopa Shell – it's like unboxing a power-up!

There's also a movie-exclusive design box that includes both collaboration donuts and classic favorites. Plus, buying this box gets you a random sticker (one of three designs).

During the event period, the Shibuya Cine Tower store will transform into a "Super Mario Galaxy Movie" wonderland! Expect to see Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser Jr. making the store a lively photo op spot.

These limited-time treats will be available from April 8 to May 26, 2026 (or while supplies last). If you're planning a trip to Japan, make sure to grab a bite!
