During the "Xbox Partner Preview 2026" broadcast late last night (3/27), the studio officially dropped a brand-new trailer, and the game's true scope is finally starting to emerge! This massive project is set to span "five cities" across different eras of Japan, though no release date has been announced yet.
The newly released video further reveals that the game will take players through five distinct eras: 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965, each serving as the backdrop for one of the five cities. While the devs say this is just "the tip of the iceberg," it's already clear the game is far grander than anyone anticipated.
Eagle-eyed fans also spotted the iconic "Kamurocho Tenkaichi Street Entrance" in the 1965 segment, sparking speculation about a shared universe with the Yakuza series. Expect this to be a major talking point!
