Tom Hardy has been embroiled in a string of recent controversies, with numerous reports detailing his erratic behavior behind the scenes of the Paramount+ series "MobLand." Accusations include constant tardiness, an arrogant attitude, forceful interference with scripts, and heated clashes with producers. He also reportedly alienated co-star Helen Mirren, intentionally trying to provoke her, leading the production team to reportedly decide on his dismissal. Now, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has added that the show's other lead, Pierce Brosnan, has also been a victim of Hardy's difficult temperament.

Sources speaking to The Hollywood Reporter indicate that during the filming of "MobLand" season two, Hardy would at times defiantly remain in his trailer, refusing to emerge for shooting and intentionally disrupting production. These sources suggest this was a tactic of "power manipulation" by Hardy, who was reportedly dissatisfied with his decreasing screen time, seemingly staging a form of protest or "strike." However, the sources characterized this behavior as nothing short of "career self-destruction," asserting that Hardy is only harming his reputation and alienating highly respected industry figures like Mirren and Brosnan.
