Manga artist Kentaro Yabuki, known for hits like the "To Love-Ru" series, "Black Cat," and "Yamato Gensoki," has just unveiled his latest venture: a new project where he's taking the reins as character designer, titled "Character Mix (CharaMix™)."
Alongside revealing two character designs, the project was announced to center around the core concept of "a future where your favorite characters are part of your daily life." It aims to create a brand-new entertainment experience themed around "sleep" and "dreams," starting with a mobile app as its core platform and gradually expanding into various other fields.

By combining character IP, AI technology, and user behavior data, the project aims to tackle common daily struggles like "wanting to stick with something but always falling off track." Its applications span various life domains, including sleep management, healthy habits, beauty routines, learning development, and various other aspects of daily life.
These characters will become your daily life partners: they'll tuck you in at night, wake you up in the morning, and help you cultivate good habits throughout the day. Through this 24/7 companionship, virtual characters transcend mere entertainment to become a genuine, integral part of your life.
To mark the official launch of the project, the character visuals for the two main characters—Muna (ミュナ) and Yohei (与兵衛)—along with their voice actors, have been revealed. Manga artist Kentaro Yabuki, creator of "Black Cat" and "To Love-Ru," is handling the character design for this project, while Keisuke Makino, known for his work on the "Persona" series, is in charge of the character story and world-building.
The official team also dropped the character visuals and voice actor lineup for the main characters, "Muna (ミュナ)" and "Yohei (与兵衛)."
