Now, he's back and more active than ever on X (formerly Twitter), sharing glimpses into his life and, of course, frequently showcasing his signature drawing prowess when it comes to "butts."
Recently, he dropped another illustration on his X account, featuring a posterior and some underwear, openly discussing his unwavering commitment to detail and his high standards for his artwork. Naturally, the internet went wild.
Katsura's latest reveal is an "upskirt" composition, focusing on just a small section of a character's butt and underwear. He explained, "It was actually finished, but I felt the elastic band of the underwear looked a bit plain, so I added some extra details."
He further elaborated on his artistic philosophy: "When you zoom in like this, you notice some areas where the blurring isn't quite ideal. But that's fine; if it's too smooth and clean, it doesn't look like real skin anymore."
He also let slip a little secret: "The pattern on the elastic band was actually drawn in one go, purely by feel. If I were to meticulously draw every single triangle, I'd totally zone out. So, even if it's a bit rough around the edges, as long as it gives off the right vibe in the end, that's what matters."
Fans were absolutely floored by Katsura's dedication to detail, flooding the comments with praise:
