This Zeong Custom Has Legs But No Upper Body, And Fans Are Cracking Up

If you're into Gunpla, you've probably dabbled in all sorts of customization techniques—painting, cutting, weathering, you name it. That's the beauty of Gunpla, after all: endless possibilities!

Enter ToMoS (@ToMoS_Qkit), a master of quirky Gunpla creations. He recently cooked up a truly wild custom model inspired by the Zeong, the final boss mobile suit from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam." His latest masterpiece? A "Zeong with legs but no upper body." It's a hilarious take on an iconic anime meme, pushing the boundaries of what Gunpla can be, and fans are absolutely loving its "super cute" vibe.

You can't talk about the Zeong without bringing up that legendary line from "Mobile Suit Gundam": "Legs are just for show; the higher-ups wouldn't understand." The Zeong's legless design became its signature.

ToMoS took that idea and ran with it. He figured if a "legless" Zeong is still 80% combat-ready, then a "no upper body" version—let's call it 50% Zeong—should totally still kick butt! And thus, his "legged but no upper body" Zeong was born.

He crafted this unique build using an MSV (Mobile Suit Variation) vintage Gunpla kit, cleverly combining just the skirt armor with arm and leg parts to bring his vision to life.

Take a closer look, and you'll spot the signature Zeon mono-eye design, and its rounded form perfectly captures that classic Zeon mobile suit aesthetic.

It even has a flying mode! Doesn't it look like it could fit right into the "Mobile Suit Gundam" universe without missing a beat?

What do you think of this out-of-the-box creation? Isn't it awesome how a little wild imagination can lead to such fun Gunpla builds? Maybe this will spark some inspiration for your next project—give this quirky style a try!
