C108 Coser Ayanomori Natsume's "Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!" Cosplay and Her Epic Ahoge Steal the Show!

Japan's biggest doujin event, "Comic Market" (Comiket, C108), rocked Tokyo Big Sight on August 15th and 16th! Massive crowds and cosplayers flocked to the venue for two days, and even with the scorching heat and heavy rain, everyone's passion remained absolutely electric.

This time, we're shining a spotlight on the trending cosplayer "Ayanomori Natsume" (@aya_nomori). She chose to cosplay Nyaruko from the light novel series "Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!" Beyond her spot-on costume and makeup, what truly stole the show was her incredibly prominent "ahoge" (that single, defiant strand of hair). Its super huge and eye-catching appearance garnered significant attention, with many exclaiming that the accuracy was simply mind-blowing!

Ayanomori Natsume actually went viral last year for her cosplay photos comparing herself at five years old and fifteen years later. Back then, she recreated actress Haruka Fukuhara's child star look, drawing considerable buzz. Then, at C106 last year, she transformed into Ika Musume from "Squid Girl," creating a stir both online and at the event.

This time, she switched gears to Nyaruko from "Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!" The most amusing part was undoubtedly her meticulously crafted hair, featuring an unmissable "ahoge"—Nyaruko's signature hair strand. This "ahoge" looked exceptionally sturdy and robust, a true testament to her incredible crafting skills!

Of course, she also handmade the costume herself, with a particular focus on the jagged details of the skirt, a defining characteristic of Nyaruko's original outfit.

Given that "Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!" is a work from over a decade ago, it's clear from her C106 "Squid Girl" cosplay last year that Ayanomori Natsume has a unique and fantastic taste in character selection. This time, she struck Nyaruko's signature pose, and naturally, also mimicked a Kamen Rider transformation stance!

Seriously, that ahoge is impossible to ignore; its sturdiness is absolutely undeniable!

She even had a blast interacting with a Pikmin cosplayer at the venue!

Ayanomori Natsume has many other fantastic cosplay works, so be sure to check out her X (formerly Twitter) account! She's also a regular at various cosplay events!
