Japanese brand PREMICO is known for dropping high-end watches and accessories that fuse premium quality with blockbuster anime and gaming franchises, consistently rolling out killer designs that have fans reaching for their wallets.
Now, they're teaming up with Capcom's globally acclaimed hit, the Monster Hunter series, to launch a line of exquisite long wallets crafted using Kyoto's thousand-year-old Nishijin-ori weaving technique. Fans can choose between two epic designs: Rathalos and Zinogre. Priced at 38,280 yen, each design is limited to just 2,000 units and is available for pre-order now on the PREMICO official website.
With roots stretching back to the fifth century, Nishijin-ori was a textile craft originally developed for the Imperial Court, celebrated for its use of multiple advanced techniques and beautifully dyed, vibrant threads.
It was named during the Muromachi period after artisans who had fled to the Western Army's (Nishijin) camp during the Ōnin War began weaving there. Today, it's designated as a national traditional craft of Japan and stands as a symbol of high-end luxury textiles.
This collection features two long wallets inspired by the series' most iconic monsters, Rathalos and Zinogre. The Nishijin-ori long wallets showcase custom patterns themed after the monsters, each woven by artisans in Kyoto.
As a bonus, each set includes a genuine leather mini wallet. This smaller wallet is crafted from real leather and features embossed and gradient-finished details that create a stunningly realistic texture, as if it were made from the monster's actual scales or shell. Each design is limited to 2,000 units and comes packaged in a deluxe collector's box with gold foil stamping.

Inspired by the "King of the Skies," Rathalos, this design features a vibrant, deep-red Nishijin-ori fabric with a custom tribal pattern of triangles arranged like scales. It also comes with a genuine leather mini wallet that looks as if it were crafted from Rathalos scales.
The center of the Nishijin-ori long wallet features the Rathalos icon against a background of roaring flames. The stripes on either side incorporate a repeating pattern inspired by the monster's wings. The decorative button is engraved with the Guild Crest, while the zipper pull has an embossed, scale-like texture.
The set also includes a genuine leather mini wallet that looks as if it were crafted from Rathalos scales. The genuine leather mini wallet is inspired by the hard scales lining a Rathalos's back and tail. The wallet's strap is made from the same Nishijin-ori fabric as the long wallet. The lining of both wallets is a brilliant red, evoking the searing flames breathed by the Rathalos.

Themed after the Thunder Wolf Wyvern, Zinogre, this design uses a blue-green Nishijin-ori fabric accented with white and yellow tribal motifs to create its custom woven pattern. The center of the Nishijin-ori long wallet features the Zinogre icon against a background resembling a flash of lightning. The stripes on either side reveal a traditional lightning pattern, a nod to its moniker, "The Living Embodiment of Lightning." The decorative button is also engraved with the Guild Crest, and the zipper pull features an embossed texture that mimics the feel of scales.
This model also comes with a genuine leather mini wallet that looks as if it were made from a Zinogre's shell. The design of the genuine leather mini wallet is inspired by the intricate shell that covers a Zinogre's body. The strap is also made from the same Nishijin-ori fabric as the long wallet. The lining of both wallets is yellow, reminiscent of the Zinogre's horns and shell.
Both wallets are designed for practical, versatile use, allowing you to switch between them depending on the occasion. The long wallet features a wrap-around zipper that opens wide for easy access, revealing a total of 19 storage compartments and pockets.
The mini wallet has an L-shaped zipper and an interior card slot, making it perfect for quick trips out.
The product will be delivered in a special collector's box featuring luxurious gold foil stamping.
