"GACHIAKUTA" Anime Gets Action RPG Adaptation "GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT," Set for 2027 Release

Riina Kei's hit manga "GACHIAKUTA," serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine and adapted into a critically acclaimed TV anime last year, has captivated fans with its distinctive art style and character designs.

Late last year, it was announced that "GACHIAKUTA" would be getting a video game adaptation, "GACHIAKUTA The Game," focusing on action gameplay to showcase its characters' appeal. Now, during the "XBOX Tokyo Game Show 2026 BROADCAST" on September 17, the official title has been confirmed as "GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT." The game is slated for a 2027 release on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

"GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT" is a real-time action RPG that fully recreates the TV anime's world in 3D. While following the anime's storyline, the game also introduces unique in-game performances and action sequences for a fresh experience.

The first-ever gameplay footage reveals intense battles between the player character and Jabba Ongar.
