It was recently announced that JR Tokai is launching a collaboration project with Japan's Tokaido Shinkansen, titled "JR Tokai 'Oshi-tabi' x Mobile Suit Gundam Wing OPERATION TOKAIDO," officially kicking off on October 20th. This unexpected partnership has sparked a lot of fan banter, with many joking, "These guys endorsing a train feels really dangerous!" — instantly making the collaboration a hot topic.
The "Oshi-tabi" project is a long-running JR Tokai initiative that frequently collaborates with popular anime titles. During the event period, passengers on the Tokaido Shinkansen can enjoy exclusive in-train voice content featuring Mobile Suit Gundam Wing characters.
