SEGA's new title, Stranger Than Heaven, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, boasts not only an expansive, multi-era storyline but also features a star-studded cast, building immense anticipation among players.
In the official "Stranger Than Heaven Talk & Live Stage with Takaya Kuroda" video, broadcast on September 20, a performance clip of Keiko Shirai, voiced by Ado, was revealed. Takaya Kuroda, who voices Takeo Godai, expressed his astonishment upon hearing Ado's recording, stating he never imagined Ado could portray such a profound character so flawlessly with just her voice.
Ado's character, Keiko Shirai, is one of the game's heroines and a female singer produced and trained by the protagonist, Shin Daito, in his role as an impresario. The newly released video depicts the scene of Daito and Keiko's first encounter. Masayoshi Yokoyama, head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, remarked that this segment "can almost be considered her debut scene."
Takaya Kuroda, who voices Takeo Godai in the game, also highly praised Ado's acting, exclaiming, "Her performance was incredible!" and "She managed to convey the full depth of this female character in such a short scene." He further stated that it's hard to believe Ado is voice acting for a game for the first time, suggesting she must have put in a lot of effort to achieve such expressive power.
