"Initial D" Teams Up With Atlassian Williams F1 Team for a New Pop-Culture Spin on Elite Motorsport

Created by Shuichi Shigeno, "Initial D" has reached its 30th anniversary after captivating generations of car fans. The manga went on to inspire anime and film adaptations, and its popularity continues to cross generational lines.

The franchise recently announced a collaboration with the British Atlassian Williams F1 Team through its "Sector Zero" initiative. Inspired by the animated film "Initial D Legend 3: Dream," the "BEFORE DAWN" capsule collection features a wide range of apparel, lifestyle goods, and watches, all available now.

"Sector Zero" is the official pop-culture program of Atlassian Williams F1 Team. It is managed by Tokyo-based creative and partnerships team "UNDONE Lab," which oversees everything from concept development and partner outreach to execution and day-to-day operations.

The program aims to take Williams F1 beyond the world of motorsport, connecting the team with new audiences and cultural communities through collaborations spanning anime, music, entertainment, and other corners of pop culture.

The collection includes 14 items in total, ranging from jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts to pins, keychains, water bottles, and a mechanical watch.

The clear centerpiece is the "PROJECT D AUTOMATIC WATCH." Its sporty, performance-driven design incorporates circuit-inspired motifs and the "Initial D" logo for a suitably sleek finish.

Priced at ¥111,900, the watch is scheduled to ship in late February 2027. The remaining products are expected to begin shipping gradually from late November 2026.

All 14 products are now available through Sector Zero’s official members-only platform, "sectorzero.club." Customers must register as Sector Zero members before making a purchase.
