Japanese actor Dean Fujioka, known for the live-action "Fullmetal Alchemist" films and historical epic "Seediq Bale," appeared on Fuji TV's variety show "Talk Queens" on the 21st. During the show, he opened up about his love for "Chiikawa," how he first became a fan, and how he channels the characters whenever he needs a boost—much to the surprise of fans.

Speaking about "Chiikawa," Fujioka said with genuine emotion, "This series really does inspire me." He revealed that he went to see the movie with his mother, adding, "If we'd gone a little earlier... I really wanted the Bon Bon Drop stickers they were giving away as a theater bonus, but unfortunately, we were too late."

As for what first pulled him into "Chiikawa," Fujioka said he initially only used its LINE stickers. Over time, however, he realized, "There's an actual story behind all this. They're not just ordinary stickers." From that point on, he was completely hooked on the world of "Chiikawa."
Asked to name his favorite character, Fujioka replied, "Every character has such a distinct personality, and they're all wonderful. But after going full circle, I came back to Chiikawa." His affection for the character was obvious. He also explained that his head-to-toe white outfit on the show was intentional, joking, "I hope everyone will adore me the same way they adore Chiikawa."

Fujioka also shared that "Chiikawa" helped him through the filming of a drama. He filled his makeup station, dressing room, and other spaces with merchandise from the series.

Even on especially grueling shoots packed with difficult, dialogue-heavy scenes, simply looking at the Chiikawa characters' expressions helped him push through. " When I look at their faces, I feel like I need to keep going too." he recalled.

His love for "Chiikawa" has long since spilled over into his everyday life. Fujioka admitted that whenever he feels tired, he cheers himself on in Chiikawa style. "When I'm changing my socks, for example, I'll suddenly catch myself going, 'Nsho... nsho...' without even realizing it," he joked.

His bedding and reusable shopping bags are also "Chiikawa" merchandise. The show even featured footage of Fujioka wearing a Chiikawa charm with one of his casual outfits, making his devotion to the series abundantly clear.

If anything, Fujioka's fandom proves just how irresistible "Chiikawa" has become. Its adorable cast has won over people of every age and background—even celebrities are no match for its charms.
