Earlier this month, a casting report for "Avengers: Doomsday" surfaced, suggesting that Berlin Film Festival winner Sandra Hüller had secretly joined the movie. The speculation began after the British Stunt Register inadvertently revealed that a stunt performer had doubled for Hüller on the Marvel production. More than three months ago, another leak claimed she would play one of the witches serving the villainous Doctor Doom. Hüller’s involvement has now finally been confirmed.

Major entertainment outlets have confirmed that Hüller appears in the film, although her role remains under wraps. Reports largely agree that she has limited screen time and will make only a brief cameo. One rumor has Hüller playing Doctor Doom’s mother, while another suggests she is a member of the Latverian Witches under his command.

This marks Hüller’s third Hollywood blockbuster of the year, following "Project Hail Mary" and "Digger." "Avengers: Doomsday" opens in U.S. theaters on December 18.
