Game 1 of the Major League Baseball World Series kicked off Friday night, and Marvel Studios wasted no time capitalizing on one of television's biggest advertising showcases. The studio debuted a new World Series crossover spot for "Avengers: Doomsday," featuring several never-before-seen shots from the upcoming movie alongside cameos filmed exclusively for the promo with some of baseball's biggest stars.

The spot cuts between a ceremonial first-pitch scene from "Avengers: Doomsday" and newly filmed footage featuring Freddie Freeman, Jacob Misiorowski, Randy Arozarena, Junior Caminero and Bryce Harper. The MLB stars watch from the sidelines as the Fantastic Four take the mound, then speculate about which Avenger could throw out the next first pitch. "Avengers: Doomsday" opens in theaters December 18, 2026.
