Japanese reptile specialty shop SHN REPTILES has revealed its new “HATCH OUT! Reptile Blind Egg” collectible series. Each realistic model recreates the look and texture of a genuine reptile egg—and you’ll need to crack open the shell yourself to discover which creature is hiding inside. The announced lineup includes an African fat-tailed gecko, hognose snake, giant gecko, and crested gecko. Pricing and release details have yet to be announced.
The first wave spotlights the African fat-tailed gecko in four different morphs: Normal, Amel, and Zulu, plus Oreo Patternless. There’s also an ultra-rare secret Whiteout Oreo version with just a 1% pull rate. Instead of simply opening a box to reveal a finished collectible, fans get to “hatch” their gecko and find out which morph is inside. Reptile collectors will definitely want to put their hatching luck to the test!
