With Marvel Studios’ "Avengers: Doomsday" set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, KFC has announced a global partnership with the studio for a limited-time menu inspired by the villain Doctor Doom. The campaign will begin rolling out across the U.K., Ireland and other markets on November 9, 2026, eventually reaching more than 100 countries and running through January 2027.

Built around Doctor Doom’s signature black-and-green color scheme, the collaboration introduces the Doom Burger, featuring a black sesame bun, Smoky Green Mayo and Doom Cola sauce, a caramelized cola glaze with smoky notes. Customers can also pair the sauces with fried chicken, wings and fries or add Doom Dust, a lime-and-chili seasoning with a smoky charred flavor. The drink lineup includes green-and-black milkshakes and sparkling beverages.
In select markets, the meals will come in packaging decorated with Doctor Doom’s mask. Customers may also receive one of five limited-edition Colonel Sanders Cosplay Collection figurines while supplies last. The campaign ad depicts New York City in ruins and Avengers Tower reduced to rubble, with a lone KFC restaurant left completely untouched.

Marvel has also partnered with other fast-food chains. Jack in the Box launched its Doomsday Dipping Box across the U.S. on November 5, 2026, featuring popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks, tacos and seasoned curly fries alongside three dipping sauces inspired by teams from the movie. Each box also includes one of eight collectible magnets that connect to form a larger image. Burger King India, meanwhile, has rolled out the black-bun Doomsday Whopper and several other hero-themed menu items.

KFC Global CEO Scott Mezvinsky said the partnership was designed to put the brand at the center of a worldwide cultural event. KFC noted that menu offerings will vary by market and that the campaign will not be available in the United States, India or China.
