The resounding success of "Deadpool & Wolverine," the third installment in the "Deadpool" franchise, has fans eagerly anticipating the Merc with a Mouth's return to Marvel Studios. And it seems they might not have to wait long to see the fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero, possibly even for a special holiday event.
Recently, Ryan Reynolds shared a photo on his Instagram featuring himself alongside Leslie Uggams, who plays Blind Al. In the picture, Reynolds is seen in his Deadpool suit, posing with Uggams against a backdrop filled with festive Christmas decorations. This immediately sparked speculation among fans that a "Deadpool" Christmas special might be in the works.

Such speculation isn't without precedent. Marvel Studios has a history of releasing holiday-themed specials, including the 2022 Halloween special "Werewolf By Night" and "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special."
Considering the box office and critical performance of "Deadpool & Wolverine" this year, it would be a logical move for Marvel Studios to extend its "Marvel Studios Special Presentations" series with a Deadpool-themed Christmas special.
