The globally acclaimed crime drama "Peaky Blinders" originally concluded its run with its sixth season. However, series creator Steven Knight later announced a feature film, "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man," which is slated for release in 2026. Knight recently teased that the movie will not mark the definitive end of the entire franchise, with more projects on the horizon.
During an interview with Times Radio, Knight was asked about the future of the "Peaky Blinders" saga. He responded, "It’s an interesting question because the film is coming out, and that will not be the end. I can only say that it’s not the end of the road."

While Knight did not disclose specific future plans to Times Radio, he elaborated slightly in an interview with Paris Match. He stated that the series would continue to follow the story of the next generation, with the timeline set after World War II. He then playfully added, "And after that, who knows, maybe even a clothing line?"
"Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" is directed by Tom Harper, who previously helmed three episodes of the original "Peaky Blinders" series and also directed the film "Heart of Stone." Steven Knight continues as the screenwriter. The cast features returning series regulars Cillian Murphy, Sophie Rundle, and Stephen Graham, alongside new additions Tim Roth, Barry Keoghan, and Rebecca Ferguson. The film premiered in Birmingham on March 2, 2026, was released in select UK cinemas on March 6, 2026, and globally on Netflix on March 20, 2026.
