Imposing Form Assembled! LEGO Master Seirei's MOC Creation of "Gundam Dynames" is a Stunning Masterpiece

LEGO, which has been popular for nearly 90 years, remains a favorite pastime for both children and adults. Many also use its self-constructible bricks to create their desired forms. We previously introduced the impressive MOC works by Japanese master Seirei ( @seirei526 ), who crafted "ν Gundam" and "Unicorn Gundam" using LEGO.

Recently, Seirei shared a new creation. This time, he challenged himself to build an assembled model of the "Gundam Dynames," piloted by Lockon Stratos from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Crafted with an incredibly imposing and masterful structure, it presents an appearance distinct from Gunpla model kits.

In fact, this time, Seirei wasn't aiming to create an ultra-large MOC Gundam work as he had in the past. He wanted to try designing a LEGO brick assembly method that could stably support the arms and shield without the need for a stand. Therefore, the overall size didn't need to be massive, but the focus was on the proportional distribution of bricks and the selection of components.

Naturally, the level of replication also referenced the original "Gundam Dynames" Gunpla's appearance, hoping to create an exquisite and robust work using LEGO as well.

▼ Construction begins with the mobile suit's core GN Drive.

▼ Next, the mobile suit's leg structure is built. Even for a relatively smaller-scale work, Seirei meticulously selected bricks for assembly and replication.

▼ Combining the upper and lower body, the prototype of Gundam Dynames is already visible.

▼ Next are the thrusters, where the component replication shows a very high level of detail.

▼ Then comes the "GN Full Shield," the challenge of this project. This 40cm shield is directly mounted onto the mobile suit without a stand, aiming to create a work "unaffected by gravity"! Furthermore, the connection mechanism between the shield and the shoulder relies on just one 1x2 brick with two studs, a design that allows for easy attachment and detachment of the shield while ensuring stability!

The assembled finished product is shown below. Seirei is extremely satisfied; even though it's not one of his previous works that often measured seventy or eighty centimeters, the "GN Full Shield" can be displayed without a stand this time, making the challenge a complete success. It can also be easily detached without any complicated procedures. For him, although the scale is smaller, it allows for exquisite presentation, offering a unique charm.
