After years of various controversies, Rachel Zegler's starring role in Disney's live-action "Snow White" is finally set to hit theaters in multiple countries starting next month. As the titular "Snow White," Zegler has naturally embarked on an intensive promotional tour, including several magazine features, with the Mexican edition of Vogue being the first to be unveiled.

In her interview with Vogue, Zegler was inevitably asked once again about her thoughts on the public's negative reactions to the live-action "Snow White." This time, however, she offered a more tempered response, a departure from her previously sharper remarks.

Zegler stated, "I interpret people's feelings about this film as their love for her [the character of Snow White]. What an honor to be a part of something for which people feel so much passion. We're not always going to have the same sentiments as those around us, and all we can do is give the best of ourselves."

Three years ago, Zegler faced significant online criticism after she commented at Disney's D23 Expo that the prince's actions in the original animated film resembled those of a stalker. She also drew ire for stating that the live-action Snow White would not solely pursue romance but would also learn to become a leader for her people. In this new interview, she emphasized that Disney has actually struck an excellent balance between preserving animated elements and introducing them to a new generation of audiences, and that it's crucial for viewers to understand this.
