Elizabeth Olsen last portrayed Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, as an antagonist in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." Since her defeat and apparent crushing beneath the ruins of Mount Wundagore in the film's climax, her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has remained uncertain, though many fans believe Wanda survived. Olsen herself, however, has revealed some personal ideas for her potential future comeback.

Currently promoting her new sci-fi film, "The Assessment," Olsen recently spoke with The Playlist's podcast "The Discourse." She shared her vision for Wanda's future: "You know, my dream for Wanda right now is for her to be 50 years older. I'll have white hair, wear a super thick white wig, and have my face covered in wrinkles, just like Tracey Ullman (pictured above) in 'Robin Hood: Men in Tights.' I'd just be a creature discovered by other characters. That's my concept for Wanda's next adventure."

Olsen also clarified that Wanda was always intended to be a villain in "Multiverse of Madness," a plot point not introduced during reshoots. "I actually wasn't involved in the reshoots; I was filming 'Love & Death' at the time, so the parts I shot were the ones that ultimately remained. I think there were a lot of reshoots, but none related to my scenes," she explained. "Playing a villain was an interesting and welcome shift, and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't something I cautiously eased into. I felt it offered a lot to work with, a really exciting opportunity."
