TAKARA TOMY's multimedia project, "BEYBLADE X," is a massive hit! With its manga, TV anime, and a huge range of Beyblade products, tournaments are popping up all over Japan, drawing in players of all ages in an absolutely incredible frenzy.
However, the official BEYBLADE X account recently (May 30) issued an announcement regarding improper conduct observed during the "X-TREME CUP GP 2025" qualifiers. The statement urged all participants to strictly adhere to tournament rules.

The official announcement, titled "Regarding Improper Conduct and Handling in the Extreme Cup GP 2025 Qualifiers," stated: "During this competition, we confirmed instances of participants competing after accepting transferred entry qualifications from others, which is a violation of tournament regulations."
In addition to this, officials also identified other suspicious behaviors:
1. Participants disguising themselves and intentionally re-registering to attempt multiple entries in the same qualifier.
2. Participants deliberately modifying parts or secretly adding weights for unauthorized customization.
Regarding these situations, the official statement sternly declared: "Such actions not only compromise the fairness of the event but also hinder the smooth operation of the competition. If confirmed, participants will be disqualified, and even if they have secured a ranking, their qualification for the Grand Finals will be revoked. Furthermore, they may face a permanent ban from all future events and competitions."

While these shenanigans have definitely shocked many Beyblade fans, some players are also saying, "Hey, maybe it's just because Beyblade X is blowing up so hard that all this wild stuff is happening!" Seriously, disguises? What are these bladers even trying to pull? LOL.

Other netizens chimed in, noting that Beyblade has apparently leveled up into a "competitive sport," complete with cheating tactics as "professional" as any athlete's. Does that mean it's gaining more street cred now? Haha!

Some users even wondered if we've somehow stumbled into a "CoroCoro Comic" timeline, with all the modifications making it feel more and more like the Beyblade manga. One person even joked, "Why not just host a 'Doomsday Cup' where anything goes? Mods, cheating, total anarchy! XD"

And of course, someone quipped that maybe these rule-breakers are just trying to live out their childhood dreams of being those "toy villains" from the cartoons. ( ˘ω˘ ) *spin spin*...

Naturally, most people are condemning these cheating tactics. But with more and more tournaments popping up, these kinds of chaotic situations are becoming all too common. Re-registering is a big one, and you often see players getting easy wins with walkovers.

It's clear that many Japanese netizens are also roasting Beyblade tournaments for increasingly resembling the manga world. We're talking not just modifications, but also cheating, stolen Beyblades, and now even players donning disguises to re-register and boost their chances! It's sparked a mix of angry and wryly amused responses online.
Then again, maybe it just goes to show that Beyblade tournaments are genuinely *that* captivating if these unscrupulous competitors are going to such lengths to win! XD
