Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division will release a new product featuring several classic Sanrio characters – the "Sanrio Characters Mermaid Charm" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per turn, and it is scheduled to launch in the fourth week of June 2025!
This "Sanrio Characters Mermaid Charm" features Sanrio characters in mermaid forms. The mermaid tails are designed with different waist sizes to match each character's physique, and they are adorned with headpieces such as bows and crowns. There are five styles available: My Melody, Pochacco, Kuromi, Badtz-Maru, and Cinnamoroll. The petticoat connecting the mermaid tail and body is made of translucent colored material, and the overall coloring uses low-saturation pink tones. The mermaid tails are finished with a pearlescent paint, which, combined with the golden ball chain, will shimmer brilliantly under light. They are super cute whether displayed as collectibles or hung on a backpack!
